Tobias is a people and portrait photographer specializing in advertising and editorial, based in Basel and Zurich. With a passion for photography, he creates a safe and supportive environment while bringing the right mix of energy and enthusiasm to his shoots. His sensitive eye for people and relationships in diverse contexts, combined with his empathy and ability to quickly assess situations, allows him to create visually striking images that are distinctive, meaningful, and one of a kind.

Tobias embraces experimental approaches. Long-term clients value and trust him as a partner and advisor throughout the creative process. He is also actively involved in various social and pro bono projects. While traveling, Tobias works on freelance projects, capturing everyday life abroad in a raw and sometimes painfully realistic way. Yet his images maintain a poetic strength and beauty.

In addition to photography, Tobias translates his unique style into beautifully directed motion pieces. As a director, he combines the precision and groundedness of his Swiss roots with impressions and cultural experiences from his frequent travels.
